He also dreamed of marrying a rich lady doctor who should be **fat**, so that if he made a silly mistake, she wouldn't be able to run fast and catch him!

While he was lost in his thoughts, he heard a dull thud from behind, as if a rubber tube had fallen. Before he could turn, a huge cobra wriggled over the back of his chair and landed on his shoulder. It quickly coiled around his left arm, just above the elbow. The snake's hood was merely three or four inches away from his face.

The doctor was completely terrified. He became frozen and sat there like a stone statue. He knew that if he made even a slight movement, the snake would bite him, and death was lurking very close. In his mind, he prayed to God and realized his own foolishness and arrogance. He realized he was just a poor, foolish, and stupid doctor with no medicine for snakebites in his room.

Suddenly, the cobra turned its head and looked into the mirror. It saw its own reflection. Slowly, the snake uncoiled itself from the doctor's arm, slithered onto the table, and crept closer to the mirror. The poet humorously wonders if the snake was admiring its own beauty, or thinking about growing a mustache or wearing eye-shadow!

The snake was never seen again.
